I hired Stephanie to come to my house and help me clean out and organize my closet. I was a little hesitant at first because it was scheduled to take 4 hours! I went through a period of 3 years of having babies and breastfeeding and my wardrobe was all out of wack. What fits? What looks good on my body? What goes well together? All of these questions caused me to have anxiety that was totally unnecessary. So, Stephanie came in and did her thing. She was amazing. First off, you have someone coming into your most intimate area of your house to go through and touch all your stuff. I was nervous because I am a private person, but Stephanie was so confident and made me feel so comfortable. I quickly let my guard down and was able to get down to business. Stephanie went through every single item (accessories and clothing) in my closet and helped me decide if I should get rid of it, donate, sell, or keep. As she got to know me and my style better, she really helped with these decisions. It was like having someone give me permission to throw things away and focus on what made me feel good! End results were an organized closet with items that I knew I loved. I now wake up in the morning feeling confident I will find something to wear that will make me feel good and look good. Also, Stephanie helped me to evaluate what essential items I was missing from my wardrobe such as a cami or a utility jacket. After this service, I honestly feel cleansed.

About 2 years ago, I made a major career change. For 15 years, I wore scrubs daily to work and immediately changed into my home “uniform” of sweats or pajamas as soon as I got home from the dental office. So, you can imagine when I had to drudge up business casual and actual pants with buttons. I had more than my fair share of meltdowns staring into my closet. My wardrobe contained wedding ensembles, scrubs, and a mishmash of random casual clothing. Nothing appropriate for my new job as a realtor. Or so I thought! Stephanie took a couple of hours and put together at least 7 or 8 different outfits from long-forgotten clothes I already had in my closet. She helped cleanse the items that were no longer stylish or simply didn’t fit well. Things I still had thinking I’d fit in them someday. It was so freeing!! She also helped me compose a list of classic items I could purchase to expand what I already had and where to find said items! She sent me photos of clothing pieces she thought would look and feel great and really encouraged me to think outside the box! If anyone has had to do a closet re-do, you know that it’s not just about the clothes. It’s what the clothes represent: comfort, professionalism, and confidence! My closet was stuffed to the brim. It took me forever to put together an outfit because I’d have to ruffle through so many clothes to find what I wanted. Stephanie came to my house, and did ALL THE WORK for me. She knew what was in style (and what wasn’t!), what fit me well, and knew all of the things that needed to go. She organized the discard pile into what I could bring to a consignment store, and what would be donated. She then organized all of my remaining clothes into coordinating colors and types of clothing. After Stephanie was finished, my closet was BEAUTIFUL!!
