Right now, I can say I am quite grateful for a purchase I made 4+ years ago: Sorel Joan of Arctic Boots! With more snow on the ground here in the midwest, snow boots are more of a “must have” than a “would like”. Before owning these Sorel Boots, I had a pair of poorly lined, low cut duck boots, which did nothing to fight through cold and snow. Bummer!
Well, my sister and I have a tradition on Black Friday to head to a local shoe store in our hometown, where we scour the store for mega deals (which we typically find!!). So just over 4 years ago, we both came home to our folks, went shopping the day after Thanksgiving and I scored these fabulous boots……for a price so low I am embarrassed to even say. And I was totally not in the market for high quality winter boots!! Since the midwest is spotty with winter weather, I typically had not invested in REALLY low temp gear.
Fast forward a few years, and Man Oh Man, am I glad I snagged these babies! They have been a life saver these past winters….keeping me warm and toasty.
So, if you all have not taken the plunge on a great pair of winter boots, it’s probably not a bad idea. But be sure to seek out a great deal. No need to blow your budget on full price items……keep your eyes peeled for sales. Trust me, they are out there!!
