Target Spring 2018 | StephStyle101 Fashion Finds

Just a girl and her blog! I am here to bring you real life, practical fashion tips and style guidance that can be part of your everyday routine.  I know I am not in perfect shape and I am certainly not a supermodel, but I do my best to treat my body right.  I get my heart pumping at the gym and fuel my body with good-for-me nutrients, count my blessings, & worship a mighty God!  I am healthy, physically & spiritually!  So when I show you my OOTD or fashion pics, keep in mind, I am 5’6″, pear-shaped, short torso/long legs, (generally) wear size 6 pants and small tops.  This is real life folks and I don’t claim it to be something else.  😉  Enough of that, let’s get to the post!

Alright All,

Who doesn’t like a fabulous Target fashion find?!?!  Well, I know I do!!  So, today, I am bringing you some beautiful pieces, new in stores (and online 😉 ), that will keep you looking amazing for those Backyard BBQs, Graduation Parties, Memorial Day Celebrations & more!!

First up, this Oh-So-Cozy, bohemian dress by Knox Rose.  It is just delightful!  Literally, I think I could wear this for days, and never want to take it off….so comfortable!  And I love that it has 3/4 length sleeves, perfect for those brisk Spring days.  I can certainly see adding a denim jacket over this as well!  The fit is TTS.  I am wearing Small, for guidance.

Did someone say “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”?!?!  Loving this skirt….seriously, every color in the rainbow is represented here!  It’s totally beautiful!  And I love this feminine blouse with the ruffle shoulders.  I really enjoy both paired together.  I would have preferred to try the skirt one size smaller, though.  I felt like the bigger fit was not super flattering, extra bulk from the additional fabric.  But, in a smaller size, I think the problem would be solved! And, it seems the blouse ran a tad big also, so trying one size down may be worth a shot. Wearing Medium skirt and Small blouse.

The design of this asymmetrical chambray skirt is ADORABLE, with the extra ruffle details….Oh My Goodness!!  I chose to style this with the feminine blouse from the previous outfit, but I could see wearing a very simple tank or no-frills blouse as well.  The skirt has plenty of personality to stand on it’s own! Fit is TTS, wearing size 6.

White jeans and chambray ruffle tank….doesn’t that just SCREAM Spring?!?!  These cropped jeans are Denizen from Levi’s for Target, and fit so well!  I tried on size 8, (all that was in stock) but it seems I could have worn the 6, based on the cut.  The jeans are a great style and the material was not see-through, a big concern with White Denim Jeans!  The ruffle chambray tank is so breezy and the adjustable straps were a major life-saver for me….and FYI, I am wearing size Small!  LOVE!

I kept the same jeans and popped on an off-the-shoulder, red gingham ruffle blouse.  This look has me wishing for a BBQ with friends…….it’s just perfect!  The belt can be tied and really define the waistline but I also appreciate that the belt can be removed and the blouse worn more free and breezy. Either way, it will look fantastic!  The only size I could find was Medium, but I could have easily sized down to Small or X-Small, so TTS.

Chambray ruffle details on a simple gray top, well, this is just the Bees-Knees!  The “Fancy-T” is not clingy and not loose…it’s just right.  Gives a girl some breathing room, just in case one has an extra big serving at dinner, not as if that would ever happen….LOL!  Wearing a Small.

What do you get when you cross black gingham fabric with bow details?!?!  A Designer Dream, that’s what! Love this top so much…. the pattern is chic, the style is on trend, the one-shoulder bow detail is thoughtful, BUT, this did run REALLY big!  I am wearing a Small in this pic but it felt like it was swimming in it….so would recommend sizing down.  Keep in mind, there is an adjustable skinny strap on the shoulder opposite the bow, so there will be no fussing to keep your blouse in place.

These PERFECT skinny black crops were calling my name and boy, did they deliver!  They have stretch, a flat front and zipper in the back.  They remind me of a wonderful pair of black crops I owned SOOOO long ago, with the back-zipper detail.  Loved those then, and I love these NOW! TTS, wearing size 6.

A casual long tank dress (that feels like a T-shirt?!?!), in RED may be just what the “fashion” doctor ordered.  Ha!  But really, this dress is crazy comfortable and the longer length is just something a bit different, which I like.  There is a slight hi-lo cut to the hemline (shorter in front, longer in back), but it’s very subtle.  I would see wearing this on it’s own, with a chambray (knotted at the waist), or a cropped denim jacket paired with some cute strappy sandals.  This dress does run TTS.  Here, I am wearing X-Small, but could easily wear a Small.

Well, I think I may have died and gone to “Dress Heaven”!!  Do you hear the angels singing?!  This wonderful wrap dress checks all the boxes for me.  Feminine details, flowing (yet structured) fabric, attractive neckline, adjustable shoulder straps, & belted waist.  The dress length is ideal, shorter in the front and longer in the back and can be dressed up or dressed down so easily.  Plus, pairing bold-colored accessories will be amazing for this number.  Wearing a Small and it fits perfectly.
